How to get the official version
The project’s home is avidemux.sourceforge.net. Its download page lists version 2.8.1 for:
- Windows: a 64-bit installer.
- macOS: a DMG built with Qt6 and labelled for macOS Monterey.
- Linux: a 64-bit universal AppImage, a “legacy” AppImage for older systems, and the source code.
