Legends of Runeterra is Riot Games’ free strategy card game set in the League of Legends universe. Riot now presents it as two things in one: a single-player roguelite adventure where you pick a champion and fight through runs of increasingly hard battles, and a ranked card battler for players who prefer head-to-head play. It suits League and Arcane fans, and card-game players who like single-player progression as much as PvP.

How the roguelite mode works
According to the store description, you choose from a cast of more than 65 champions, including Jinx, Warwick, Caitlyn, Vi and Ambessa, and take them through World Adventures and Weekly Nightmares. Each run offers new cards, powers and relics, and champions can be permanently upgraded between runs with Star Powers.

The game is free. The Epic listing notes it may include in-app purchases, and the PEGI descriptor mentions in-game purchases.
Ratings
The Epic Games Store shows PEGI 7 for violence, fear and in-game purchases. Google Play in the US shows Teen, and the App Store shows 12+.

Safety
