MusicBee is a free music player and library manager for Windows. It is built for people with large local music collections: it manages and plays your library, and can be extended with skins, plugins, visualisers and “theater mode” add-ons from its website. MusicBee 3.6.9668 was released on June 20, 2026.
Who it suits
Windows users who keep their own music files and want a full-featured manager rather than a streaming app. There is no Mac, Linux or mobile version from the MusicBee project.

The Store edition updates itself. The Installer edition is the classic desktop install. The Portable edition keeps everything in one folder, which is handy on a USB drive.

We did not find MusicBee in the community winget repository. The Microsoft Store edition can be installed from the Store app.
