World of Warships is a free-to-play naval combat game from Wargaming. You command a ship, from a destroyer to a battleship, in team battles against other players. Wargaming says the fleet includes more than 800 ships from the first half of the 20th century, and you can change each ship’s look and choose upgrades that suit your play style. It suits players who like slower, tactical battles where map awareness matters.

The base game is free. Steam lists in-app purchases and many paid DLC packs. The PEGI and ESRB descriptors on Steam both mention in-game purchases that include random items, and the Australian rating mentions chance-based purchases.

Steam shows ESRB T (Teen) for violence and suggestive themes, with users interacting, and PEGI 12 for sex and in-game purchases including random items.
