Our file check
File check — 17 October 2026 UTC: We downloaded the official installer XnView_MP-1.12.2-win-x64.exe (Windows x64 setup (served as XnViewMP-win-x64.exe), 65.9 MB) from xnview.com and did not run it.
SHA-256: 56aa2e1e968d8c83ca969e1f8ecf5a9d7c3d589ab9d892efa816498983d12735. Its SHA-256 matches the value the publisher lists (source). Windows reports a valid Authenticode signature from GOUGELET PIERRE-EMMANUEL.
A matching hash proves the file is byte-for-byte the publisher’s release. It is not a malware scan, and we did not install or test the program. Check your own copy with our SHA-256 checker.
It suits anyone who wants a fast viewer that can also organise and bulk-process large folders of images. “MP” is the modern, multi-platform version; XnView Classic is the older Windows-only program, now labelled legacy.
