Short answer: We can verify the source and integrity of a named Flyoobe file; that does not establish that every action it performs is safe. The current official release we checked is 3.03.100. Its ZIP matched GitHub’s published digest, but its extracted
Flyoobe.exereturned NotSigned in our Windows signature check. We did not run it or perform a security audit.
Editorial review — 1 October 2026 UTC: We downloaded the named release asset, measured it, checked ZIP integrity and inspected the executable and runtime configuration. No application launch, administrator approval, Defender exception, Windows upgrade or settings change was performed.
Use the right project and generation
The developer publishes through builtbybel/Flyoobe. Start with that repository and its release link, not an advertisement, similarly named GitHub account or a search-result download button. The README distinguishes current Flyoobe 3 from legacy Flyoobe 2.4 and Flyby11 Classic; the latter versions remain available but are not actively developed.
The repository presents an MIT license and freely shared downloads. However, its README explicitly says the refactored 3.x source is still being prepared and that the public default branch holds the previous generation. We cannot use that older source tree to claim that we audited or reproduced the current 3.03 executable. Availability of an older repository is different from source correspondence for this release.
The exact asset inspected
The 3.03.100 release was published on 28 September 2026 and is titled “Flyoobe 3.03”. The following observations apply only to its main ZIP, not to optional Actions or a future release.
| Check | Recorded result |
|---|---|
| Asset | FlyoobeApp.zip |
| Measured bytes | 696,542; matched the release metadata |
| Measured ZIP SHA-256 | c07e641d2e2fbae8b1c3bbcba7a608836598fba9f79465ae22204308a08d162d; matched the publisher’s release digest |
| ZIP compression check | Completed without a corrupt member being reported |
| Extracted file | FlyoobeApp/Flyoobe.exe, 406,528 bytes |
| Windows signature result | NotSigned, signature type None, no signer certificate returned |
| Runtime configuration | The included Flyoobe.exe.config targets .NET Framework 4.8 |
A matching digest proves equality with the published release asset at this check, not harmless behavior or author identity for unsigned code. NotSigned is an observation about this file’s signature, not a malware verdict. The runtime entry is a static configuration observation; we have no compatibility or successful-launch result from a device.
Repeat the integrity check on your own file
- Open the official release and confirm its tag. Select the main ZIP rather than the optional Actions asset.
- Use
Get-FileHash .\FlyoobeApp.zip -Algorithm SHA256in PowerShell on the file you downloaded. - Compare it with the digest for that exact asset and tag. The value above applies to 3.03.100 only; do not compare a newer release with it.
- If it differs, record the URL, asset name, tag and size before deciding whether the download was incomplete or a different file.
- Inspect the executable’s signature separately using our signature-check guide. A ZIP hash and an executable signature answer different questions.
Our local SHA-256 tool can also calculate a file digest. These checks cannot certify future builds or the settings you choose to apply.
Review settings and optional actions before applying them
The README describes a setup companion that compares configuration with recommendations and lets users make deliberate choices. Its recommendation score is not a Microsoft hardware-eligibility or security certificate. Optional Setup Actions are PowerShell jobs, disabled by default according to the project; review their commands, privileges and any downloads individually. Our check did not download or execute that optional asset.
If your objective is an unsupported Windows upgrade, use the separate installation decision guide. A bypass does not make the hardware supported. Keep a usable recovery plan before changing accounts, applications or system settings.
What if Windows Security flags the file?
Record the exact detection, file hash and source. We did not run a current Defender scan and cannot classify a warning as a false positive, a benign bypass or a threat on your device. An old detection report about Flyby11 does not settle today’s 3.03 file. Verify the evidence for the actual file and action before deciding what to do; this guide does not instruct you to disable protection or create an exception.
